Morton® Pool Salt is a high purity salt that allows you to enjoy all the benefits of a salt water pool. Its all natural salt proves gentler on hair, skin, eyes, and swimwear. Morton® Pool Salt is a non-food grade solar salt harvested from brine impounded in open shallow ponds that crystalized through slow evaporation by solar heat and wind. The salt works with a salt water chlorinator (“salt cell”) to generate free chlorine that sanitizes pool water. This product is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 standards.
