Product Overview
Salt blocks are compressed from vacuum granulated salt or fine rock salt. The block appearance is white to crystalline and exhibits a smooth, glossy surface. – Minimum purity is 99.5 % sodium chloride except at Grand Saline, where it is 97.0 %.
Applications
- This product is primarily intended for animal feeding. Plain blocks made from vacuum granulated salt and
- solar salt are also suitable for water conditioning purposes, provided the pressure-sensitive label is removed
- before placing in the water softener. Grand Saline’s Plain blocks are not recommended for water softeners,
- because of the higher impurity levels in rock salt.
