Morton® Kiln Dried Mill Run salt is a non-food grade solar salt. This salt is finely screened and can be used in a variety of industrial applications. The salt is harvested from concentrated brine that has crystalized in shallow ponds through slow evaporation via solar heat and wind. The salt is washed, dried, and screened to void much of the inorganic salt impurities. The salt breaks into rectangular particles that are crystalline to white in appearance. This salt contains no additives. This product NSF/ANSI certified. Please note this product is not suitable for direct incorporation into food.
